From the instructions
Turn on Jack Mode before lifting. Tesla says the truck can try to level itself on the jack if Jack Mode is off. Do not get under the truck while it is on the jack, and do not place the jack under the battery or the side rails.
Tools
The kit's lug-nut wrench and socket, the bottle jack, and a wheel chock if you have one.
Fasteners and torque
Lug nuts: 205 Nm (151 ft-lb), after the truck is back on the ground.
Steps
Step 1
Set up the truck
Take the spare out of the bed. Park on flat ground with room to work. Set the suspension to Medium and turn on Jack Mode under Controls, Service. Chock the tire diagonal to the flat if you can. Inflate the spare to the door-pillar pressures before it goes on.
Step 2
Loosen the lug nuts
Pull the wheel cover and its mounting ring off. Fit the socket on the lug wrench, extend it, and loosen the lug nuts while the tire is still on the ground.
Step 3
Lift at the marked point
Put the bottle jack under the green lift point for that corner and raise the truck, following the jack maker's instructions, until a fully inflated tire will fit.
Step 4
Swap the wheel
Once the flat is clear of the ground, remove the lug nuts and the wheel. Hang the spare on the studs and thread the lug nuts by hand.
Step 5
Torque the lug nuts
Lower the truck, remove the jack, and tighten the lug nuts to 205 Nm (151 ft-lb). Refit the mounting ring and cover, outer clips first, then the center clips. Turn Jack Mode off.
Step 6
Stow the removed wheel
Put the wheel in the vinyl cover against the front center of the bed. Hook the strap to the two center D-rings under the bolt covers, tighten from the right with the slack adjuster, and secure the loose strap with the Velcro. Shake the tire to confirm it stays put.
