From the instructions
The written steps are for the left side. Tesla says the right side is the mirror of those steps.
Tools
A flat, non-marring tool to pull the wheel-arch push clips.
Fasteners and torque
Front lower bolts: 1.8 Nm (1.3 ft-lb).
Rear flap bolts and the M6 bolt at the bottom of the rocker: 2.2 Nm (1.6 ft-lb).
Steps
Step 1
Set the front up
Set ride height to High, open the driver's front door, and turn the steering wheel fully left. The page illustrates the front left flap.
Step 2
Clip the front flap
Remove the two push clips on the front wheel-arch liner. Seat the flap flush on the liner and put the clips back from right to left.
Step 3
Bolt the front flap
Install the two supplied bolts that hold the bottom of the flap to the rocker panel cover. Tighten them to 1.8 Nm (1.3 ft-lb). Repeat on the right.
Step 4
Open the rear liner
For the rear left flap, Tesla again says to set ride height to High, open the driver's door, and turn the wheel fully left. Remove the three push clips on the rear wheel-arch liner and the M6 bolt under that liner.
Step 5
Add the rear U-nuts
Peel the liner back, install the three U-nuts, then tuck the liner behind the rocker so it sits under the rocker panel cover.
Step 6
Bolt the rear flap
Place the flap on the liner and install the three bolts into the rocker panel cover at 2.2 Nm (1.6 ft-lb). Reinstall the M6 bolt at the bottom of the rocker at the same 2.2 Nm (1.6 ft-lb). Repeat on the right.
