From the instructions
Do not fully tighten a flap until it is aligned. Avoid overtightening. Check clearance to the wheels and suspension.
Tools
Low-profile offset, ratcheting, flat, and Phillips screwdrivers, plus a pick. Hand tools only, on level ground. Rally Armor says not to use powered tools.
Fasteners and torque
Each front flap uses one front bracket, one long screw, two shorter screws, three washers, and three expansion anchors.
Each rear flap uses one rear bracket, three shorter screws, three washers, and three expansion anchors.
Tighten until the washers are just seated against the flap. The sheet does not give a torque number.
Steps
Step 1
Check the kit
Confirm the four flaps, two front brackets, two rear brackets, and the hardware kit are all there before starting.
Step 2
Open the front arch
Turn the steering wheel toward the side you are working on so you can reach inside the front wheel well.
Step 3
Hang the front flap
Remove the three existing fasteners. Fold each expansion anchor, push it into the mount, and open the hole with a pick about an inch into the center. Logo side of the flap faces the rear of the truck. Set the front bracket over the flap.
Step 4
Fasten the front flap
Washer and long screw in the first mount. Washer and shorter screw in the other two. Square the flap to the ground, then tighten until the washers just sit on the flap.
Step 5
Hang the rear flap
Remove the three rear fasteners, install three expansion anchors the same way, and set the logo toward the rear of the truck with the rear bracket over the flap.
Step 6
Fasten the rear flap
Washer and shorter screw in each of the three mounts. Align the flap to level ground and tighten until the washers just sit on the flap.
