From the instructions
Put the truck in Jack Mode before the install. Keep the heat gun off wires and plastic. MPP says about 25 mm either side of stock is likely fine and that the risk grows past that.
Tools
A 10 mm wrench, a trim tool, a metric 4 mm Allen key, pliers or screwdrivers, and a heat gun or hair dryer.
Fasteners and torque
Two thick shims match the factory link length. Fewer than two thick shims lifts the truck. More than two lowers it.
MPP's stated shim effect is about 24 mm hub-to-fender per thick shim, 12 mm per medium shim, and 6 mm per thin shim. The rear moves about 15 percent more than the front. No shims is about a 50 mm lift. Three thick shims plus one medium is about a 37 mm drop.
Do not stack more than three thick, one medium, and one thin shim on one link.
Steps
Step 1
Measure and set Jack Mode
On level ground, measure hub center to fender arch at the height you care about. Switch to High, then Controls, Service, Jack Mode. Build each link to the length you want. A shorter link raises the truck and a longer link lowers it.
Step 2
Heat the front link
Start at the front upper control arm. Heat the factory link's ball socket three or four times until the surface is too hot to touch, with about 15 seconds between passes. Stop if you smell rubber.
Step 3
Swap the front link
Pry evenly around the socket with a screwdriver, pliers, or a trim tool until it pops off. Do not twist the link. Grease the ball and the new socket with the included lube, heat the MPP link the same way, and pop it on with the bolts facing up.
Step 4
Swap the rear links
Remove the rear wheels by whatever method you use safely. Heat and pry the rear factory links the same way, grease the ball, and install the MPP link with the bolts facing up.
