Install indoors. The page says wind will catch the film outside. Keep the edges on the flat face of the light, use plenty of slip solution, and expect little or no stretching.
Tools
Alcohol wipes, a soap solution, and a squeegee.
A heat gun or hair dryer, and a clean cloth for leftover solution.
Steps
Step 1
Wash the light
Clean around the light strip with alcohol wipes, then spray the area with the soap solution.
Step 2
Lay the side pieces
Align each side piece, press it down, squeegee out bubbles, and wrap the film around the light edges.
Step 3
Lay the center light bar
Spray the center piece with soap solution, center it on the light bar, squeegee out bubbles, and wrap the edges.
Step 4
Finish the film
Wipe off extra soap. Use a heat gun or hair dryer on wrinkles. Check for bubbles. The page says the film can be lifted and started over.
